My ride group for Day 3- Kevin, Pete & Jessie. We executed a cool pace line together and had a blast! As Kevin said “beast mode”😊
But, its not about the bike.
On the surface, you see us cycling. What you don’t see is the give and get of support, the friendship and love, the emotion, the hugs, the tears, the smiles.
We had a great day together and it was good to see Pete, Jesse and Kevin be in the moment and enjoy the ride. Kevin won his battle with cancer, Pete is still fighting, and Jessie is primary caregiver to his wife as she continues her fight.
